How to share Carir with your students: a guide for career offices

What students get for free

• The full job board, searched by title with the level in it: a search for an intern or new grad role keeps to that level.
• A keyword match score for each posting: the posting's terms a resume carries and misses.
• Alerts and a wishlist for roles worth coming back to.
• A tracker for every application, by stage.
• A daily email of new roles.

Students can also score a resume against a real posting on carir.ai without creating an account; the resume is read by a parser and deleted after 24 hours unless they sign up and keep it.

What Pro adds, and how the trial works

Pro is $25 a month or $240 a year. It adds the daily matches, which are roles employers created in the last 24 hours on their own hiring boards, each scored against the student's resume with the lines that earned the score; a resume builder; tailoring that returns unsupported requirements as gaps instead of inventing experience; cover letters and outreach drafts; and applications prepared for the student to review and send.

Every trial is five days of Pro with no card. It ends by itself: a student who wants to keep Pro chooses Keep Pro and adds a card at that step, and is never charged otherwise.

A 30-minute workshop outline

• Five minutes: open carir.ai and search a role the room wants, with the level in the search.
• Ten minutes: each student scores their resume against one real posting and notes the terms it misses.
• Ten minutes: fix one resume line in the posting's words, honestly.
• Five minutes: save three roles to the tracker and pick a follow-up date.

What Carir does not do

• It has no school dashboard and no school view: each student's account is their own.
• Its AI tailor does not invent experience: requirements the resume cannot support come back as gaps.
• It does not send applications without the student by default; sending on its own is a separate switch each student has to turn on and confirm.
• It takes no employer money, so nothing can be bought up a student's list.
• It makes no promise of interviews or offers; it helps students apply well to roles that are open and fit them.
